LGMG launches new generation scissors

China-based LGMG has launched a new generation of scissor lifts for the export market.

The new 5.8m to 14m working height slab scissor range meets European CE and US ANSI standards and is rated for indoor and outdoor use.

The basket capacity of the seven-model range is 230kg to 450kg for two operators indoors and one operator outdoors, which the company says has been aligned with job site requirements and utilisation.

The lower control panel has a 7-inch display to make troubleshooting more convenient. It also comes with multi-language support and blue tooth modules for remote control, as an option.

Commonality of components is a key difference between LGMG’s new range and the previous generation. The models incorporate long wearing parts, while major electric and hydraulic components are all interchangeable, including joysticks, motors, the controller and charger.

The tray design has also been improved for a better component layout and a larger space, allowing for better service accessibility. Key electrical components have been installed separately, with covers, to minimise the possibility of water ingress.

In addition, the full series is available with lithium batteries, as an option, providing the usual benefits of lithium, including maintenance-free operation, flexible and longer charge times and longer duty life.
