Clean Motion unveils Re:volt delivery vehicle
17 September 2021

Swedish firm Clean Motion has revealed its new Re:volt, a micro vehicle intended for last-mile, inner-city deliveries.
The Re:volt weighs 250kg (551lbs) unloaded, with a maximum weight of 700kg (1,540lbs). A low vehicle weight and high load capacity means a greater percentage of energy is used to transport goods instead of the vehicle.
The micro vehicle features a modular construction which can be configured to suit various applications. The Re:volt also includes integrated solar panels in the roof.
“We are not alone in integrating solar panels into the vehicles,” said Goran Folkesson, CEO of Clean Motion. “What is unique is the energy efficiency of our vehicles, which means that the solar roof can make them self-sufficient in energy.”
A 40kg (88lbs) battery pack delivers a range of between 70 and 280km (43 and 173 miles). The solar panels can extend that by up to 130km (80 miles) per day, depending on geographic location.
Clean Motion is planning to start production of the Re:volt vehicle in late 2022. The company is interested in working with companies which have diversified transport needs to help develop last details of the vehicle platform.
