Dr. Schulte’s keynote address will take place during the fifth annual Diesel Progress Summit, which will be held Sept. 24-25 at the Crowne Plaza Louisville Airport Expo Center in Louisville, Ky., prior to the opening of the Utility Expo. This unique conference, networking and awards program for the engine, powertrain and emerging power technology industries explores powertrain technologies used in construction, agriculture, mining, forestry and marine, as well as on-highway commercial vehicles.
With the theme “Technologies of Transition”, conference topics will include an update on battery technologies, the state of development in electric motors, alternative fuel use in power generation, and more. The program will also include two roundtable discussions highlighting:
- progress in low- and zero-carbon fuels with presenters from Southwest Research Institute, Neste and New Holland;
- and developments in hydrogen combustion engine technology with representatives from Cummins, JCB and Liebherr.
A further highlight of the event will be the Diesel Progress Summit Awards presentation, which recognizes achievements in a wide range of categories. For information on the how to submit a nomination, click here or email Becky.Schultz@khl.com.
