E-Mobility, part of the Soltech Group, has installed 15 fast-charging points for Göteborgs Lastbilcentral (GLC).

The rapid charging tech, supplied by Kempower, is now available at one of Sweden’s largest charging stations for battery-electric commercial vehicles.

Located in Gothenburg, the new installation will play a part in strengthening Sweden’s fast charging infrastructure, with the goal of making the sector emissions-free by 2045.

Tomi Ristimäki, CEO of Kempower, said: “We’re delighted to see this project go live. Commissioning one of Sweden’s largest private e-truck charging stations highlights the power of bringing ambitious Nordic companies together. We see the electrification of buses and trucks developing fast in the coming years and projects such as this are meaningful ways to electrify transport.”

With headquarters in Finland, Kempower offers DC charging solutions for a variety of industry sectors, ranging from battery-electric HGVs to mining equipment.
