Motor Inverters

By Chad Elmore01 October 2018

UQM Technologies Inc. has introduced a full line of PowerPhase HD2 electric motor inverters.

The company said the new inverter provides greater reliability and manufacturability, improved packaging, and expanded performance. The inverter’s packaging has a decrease in weight by more than half.

The PowerPhase HD2 is currently available in prototype form for key pilot customers and early market entry. UQM said it plans to formalize production at its Longmont, Colo., headquarters early in 2019.
