Snorkel booms delivered to Russia
14 January 2021
Russian rental company Arslift has taken delivery of 10 new A38E electric articulated boom lifts from Snorkel.
Arslift, which operates a rental fleet of more than 300 self-propelled units across its five Moscow, Samara, Kazan, Saratov and Kaluga branches, received the new machines last month and put them straight to work.
Aleksandr Opolev, business development director at Arslift, said, “These lifts deliver a long duty cycle between charges and the electric power means they can be used indoors and outdoors for maximum flexibility on the job. We know these will be very popular with both our construction and industrial customers.”
Equipped with a 215kg basket, the new battery powered units were built at the manufacturer’s facility in the UK. They have a maximum work height of 13.5m and an outreach of 6.1m.
Designed to work on sites with lower floor loadings, Snorkel said the articulating telescopic of its A38E provides a high level of manoeuvrability and that it is suitable for use on projects with limited space.
