This crane was first announced in April 2022 here. The company said this launch is part of its green solutions strategy to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from its machines by 35 per cent by 2030.

The crane has a working radius of 34 metres, ground lifting height of 44.2 metres and a maximum speed of 49 kilometres per hour.

This electric version offers reduced noise levels which could be a benefit for noise-sensitive Japanese construction sites, Tadano said.

Battery power

The crane battery can last up to 11 hours when completing just lifting work operations. During a combination of lifting work and travelling, the battery can last up to 5 hours and for driving only, the battery will last for 70 kilometres.

Quick charging takes 2.5 hours and normal charging can be done in 8 hours.

The crane boasts Tadano’s Lift Visualizer which includes a suspended load monitoring camera that allows operators to monitor loads directly from above. Tadano said this is useful when working with blind spots and improves overall work safety.
