Belgium-based Eliet Machines introduced four new battery-powered scarifiers as part of a new partnership with EGO Power on its stand at the International Rental Exhibition (IRE).

The E450 DC e-power, E450ZR DC e-power, KS300 PRO e-power and BL360 e-power are powered by an integrated power cell from EGO Power, which is a combination of a 3200W brushless DC motor and a docking station to which two EGO 56V Lithium-Ion batteries can be attached.

Eliet says the batteries require the same installation size as a gasoline engine and can be easily removed. For the status of power consumption, LEDs on the batteries indicate how much power is left.

The battery also utilises energy management, which enables the management and monitoring of each individual cell, while its arched design is said to allow cells to better radiate their heat to the environment, protecting the battery from overheating.

In terms of machine specifications, both the E450ZR DC e-power and E450 DC e-power offer a working width of 45cm and come with Eliet’s Double Cut blades that are mounted with a limited spacing of 15mm from each other, enabling them to comb through turf extensively, according to the company.

Elsewhere, the KS300 PRO e-power, a stable edge cutter designed for use by professionals, features a vertical rotating steel blade with a diameter of 30cm that is said to make it possible to cut away overgrown grass with precision.

Three angle adjustment settings are available on the machine, while a handlebar with seven adjustment settings is also a standout feature, according to the company.

Finally, the BL360 e-power leaf blower is said to reduce noise pollution thanks to its wide turbine with large air supply that also allows it to move at lower speeds. The machines nozzle comes with two adjustment options which gives the user the autonomy to choose whether the air comes out from the front or the sides.
